New Release: 'Weakest Moments' – Because We All Have Them

I hope none of us are judged by our weakest moments.

I've had so many of those moments. The ones where everything feels fragile, where one more thing could break it all, and you wonder if anyone would still stay if they saw the real cracks. I used to think I had to be strong all the time . . never let the mask slip, never show the weakness. But they are there, lurking. We all have them.

Why We Judge Our Own Weakest Moments

We beat ourselves up for not being perfect in them. For falling apart when we "should" hold it together. For feeling small or scared or overwhelmed. But judgment doesn't fix anything . . it just makes the moment heavier. The song is about dropping that judgment, at least for a minute. About admitting "this is my weakest moment" without shame. Because if we can't be kind to ourselves in the low points, how do we expect to show up for anyone else?

I wrote Weakest Moment by Mending Stars because I wanted to be honest about that internal dynamic. I've lived it . . pushing through when I was barely hanging on, hiding the struggle, then feeling guilty for not being "strong enough." It's humbling to realize everyone has these moments. No one is judged by them forever. They pass, and we keep going.

The "Still Here" Perspective

I can only control how I treat myself in those moments. I can't erase them, I can't prevent them, but I can stop pretending they don't exist. Weakness isn't the opposite of strength . . it's part of being human. Owning it doesn't make me less; it makes me real. And if the connection is worth anything, it has to survive the weak spots too.

I still believe in showing up, even when it's messy. Especially when it's messy. It takes more than perfection to make things last . . it takes honesty about the lows.

If you've ever had a weakest moment that left you feeling small, wondering if anyone would stick around if they knew, this song is for you.

Give it a listen wherever you stream music.
