New Release: 'Home'

New Release: 'Home' is out now.

Some songs are written for the world.

Some songs are written for just . . one . . person.

'Home' was never supposed to leave the room.

I wrote this song for my wife on her birthday a couple years ago. It was simple. Personal. Just something I wanted her to have. It wasn’t planned as a release. It wasn’t meant to be shared. It just sat there.

Waiting.

Toward the end of last year, something shifted and I realized that sometimes the most personal songs are the ones that carry the most truth. So I decided to finish it. To shape it into something complete . . and I made it her Valentine’s Day gift this year.

What “Home” Really Means

We hear the phrase all the time . . home is where the heart is . . but what does that actually mean?

Home isn’t a place.

It isn’t four walls.

It isn’t a city.

It’s the person your heart moves toward.

This song is about that kind of love. The kind where wherever she goes, that’s where my heart goes too. The kind where no matter how far life stretches or how much time passes, I’ll always come back.

Because she’s my home.

Not in a dramatic way.

Not in a fairy tale way.

In a grounded, steady, real way.

The kind that feels like . . breathing.

A Love That Stays

Home isn’t about fireworks.

It’s about foundation.

It’s about choosing each other when life gets busy. When seasons change. When you both grow in ways you didn’t expect.

It’s about knowing that even if everything around you shifts, there’s one place that doesn’t.

One person who feels like safety.

One place your heart recognizes instantly.

That’s what this song is built on.

Why I Decided to Share It

For a long time, this felt too personal to release . . but the more I sat with it, the more I realized that maybe the most personal songs are the ones that connect the deepest. We all want that feeling. That anchor. That person we return to.

If you’ve ever known someone was your constant . .

If you’ve ever felt your heart settle when they walk into a room and lock eyes with yours . .

If you’ve ever understood that “home” isn’t an address, but a person . .

This one’s for you.

Stream “Home” wherever you listen to music.

And to the one I wrote it for . . you already know.

I love you, always! ❤️
