This song came from the overwhelming feeling that the people I love most in this world are carrying weights they should not have to carry alone. The kind of love that makes you want to shield them from every hard thing. The kind of love that hurts when you see them hurting. The kind of love that pushes you to be better because they deserve better.
I would give anything to make life easy for them. To take every burden off their shoulders. To make the path smooth and the days gentle. But I cannot. Life is not easy. Pain is real. Struggles are real. And all I can do is be there. All I can do is remind them they are not alone. All I can do is tell them how much they mean. How much strength they give me. How much they inspire me to keep trying to be the best version of myself.
