Twinkle twinkle little light
you were bright but never right
every sound and every face
turns to noise I can’t erase
people talking words collide
I see patterns they can’t find
hope too big it breaks my chest
so I mask and call it rest

They say just calm down I try
but my calm still hums inside

always more than they can see
every spark that burns too long
turns to fire feels so wrong

but I still glow where others hid

Tiny planets spin too fast
