About Mending Stars

Mending Stars is my way of turning real life into music. I’ve written hundreds of songs over the years . . not to chase hits, but because I needed a way to process what I was feeling and let it out. Music has always been where I go when I don’t know what else to do with what I’m carrying.

 

I’ve been part of a few projects before, but this is the first one that’s really seemed to connect . . not just with me, but with other people too. And that means more than I can put into words.

 

This project is deeply personal. Every lyric comes from something I’ve lived. Every melody carries a piece of what I’ve felt . . the highs, the heartbreaks, and all the quiet, complicated moments in between.

 

Some songs are about love. Some are about loss. A lot of them are just about being human.

 

I’ve been incredibly lucky to work with a few platinum-selling producers and vocalists along the way . . artists who helped shape the sound while keeping the heart intact. But at its core, Mending Stars is still just me . . writing, producing, building the site, sharing the songs . . doing the best I can with what I have. It’s not perfect, but it’s real. And I’m grateful for every person who’s taken the time to listen.
